Security Guard License Maryland requires its prospective security guards applying for license to: 1. At least 18 years-old 2. A citizen or Resident of the United States of America 3. A correctly completed application form 4. 2 passport sized colored photo 5. 1 FBI fingerprint card
Required Training
The amount of training guards receive varies. Training requirements are higher for armed guards because their employers are legally responsible for any use of force.
